I am also here to tell you that there is only one perfect, beautiful baby …. And every mother has it.
The world has two kinds of people - Baby people and those who are not. I am definitely one of the former. I. LOVE. NEWBORNS. The gift of life and that precious moment of when you first meet a new baby, has created some of my most treasured life memories.
Ticking off one of my bucket list items saw me achieve my registration as a Celebrant a while ago. Since then, some very special events have offered me the thrill of being invited to be the Celebrant at some very special weddings.

As the birds and bees tell us, often after people fall in love and make life commitments to each other, babies are considered.
One of “my” babies and one of “my” couples have now shared the news of their anticipated arrival in the New Year.
When my niece was a toddler I lived with her family for a while. She was one of the cutest babies ever…. She had such a smiley disposition and cuddly little soul. I loved her all the way to the moon and back through the universe. As she grew up she eventually studied to become a nurse – YEP very proud Aunt moment, right there!! What a thrill when her fiancé and her asked me to be their celebrant.

The next exciting chapter is being written as we all became aware of the beautiful baby bump that is growing and making its presence felt and known. You got it … another very proud Aunt moment.
Excited, proud, filled with love and hope, which means I can barely contain my excitement – however, I am so not telling you what my prediction is! Boy or girl it will be loved and treasured and another gorgeous great niece or nephew for me to love along with Levi, Imogen and Charlee.
*Arrhhh* … can’t you just hear the sigh of love and happy I feel?
